by Carine Bichet on 17th November 2000 12:00 PM Originally broadcast on Minnesota Public Radio's "Prairie Home Companion" program, this little ditty quite nicely captures the process of indoctrination that turns students into professors. Frank Sinatra would approve.

by GeoGal on 24th March 2002 12:00 PM The self-described mission of Arts and Letters is to 'extract precious nuggets of content' from the 'vast mountains of low-grade ore' of the web. by Tom on 30th October 2001 12:00 PM Abstract: In this paper we demonstrate that writing a Ph.D. dissertation can have many benefits. Not only do you obtain extensive typesetting experience, but afterwards you can have your frequent-flyer literature addressed to "Dr. Your Name."

by TDCrash on 23rd February 2009 12:48 PM So me and my ADD-addled brain can download a course to iTunes, snap that sucker onto my iPod and stroll to work all the while reviewing organic. Heck, I can even PAUSE the iPod when I get bored and turn on some Beatles until I'm ready to dig back in.
And you know what? I'm also getting exercise while I'm doing this because I sometimes get so lost in the lesson I decide to take the longer way to the lab.
I so wish we had this technology when I was an undergrad 20 years ago. No matter. I hope...
